World Drum lessons for students of the GTA!
Want to learn the Handpan, Djembe or World Drums from the comfort of your home ?
Rahul 'Raja' has been teaching students of the DJEMBE, HANDPAN and WORLD DRUMS for 10+ years. Founder of the Trinity Bellwoods Drum Circle, Toronto's largest weekly drum circle, he has been introducing beginners to drumming every year. Teaching students the keys to drumming, rhythm, notation and song writing using techniques developed over many years.
Your lessons can take place online or at Raja's exclusive world music studio at the Tip Top Lofts. With over 30 drums /instruments including (djembe, tabla, doumbek, handpan, 88 grand keyboard, electric drum kit and more!).
Lesson rates are as follows:
50$/ for 40 min lessons
60$ / for 60 min lessons
All lessons are grouped in packs of 4 or 8, lessons can be taken 1-2 weekly.
Raja has trained drumming at the University of Ghana (Africa) and at Simon Fraser University (BC) where he obtained a BA in music. A former teacher at the Sarah McLachlan School of Music and Masters of Fine Arts (Music) candidate at the School of Contemporary Arts at SFU, Raja is a qualified teacher and educator.
