Before you select your building inspector, take the following into consideration to make the right choice:
* Inspector has to have professional liability insurance covering fault, error & omission
* Uses a recognized service agreement
* Carries out the inspections according to the recommended building inspection standards
* Submits a written report including color pictures in pdf format or hard-copy
