Hi, my name is Bilal and I recently graduated with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Alberta, with a minor in Biological Sciences. I've had an interest in tutoring for several years now, and have experience tutoring grade 10 and 11 high school students, and intro level university courses as part of the Undergraduate Psychology Association at the U of A. I graduated high school with a 96.2%, and graduated my BSc with a perfect 4.0 GPA. As attestation to my academic merit, I've received a $10,000 Public Health Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship, a $2,500 Louise McKinney Post-Secondary Scholarship, and others.
I am willing to tutor in a wide set of subject areas, including all areas of junior high and high school-level courses like English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Social studies. I can also tutor many intro and senior-level University courses (i.e., Psychology, Biology, Chem/Ochem, Physics, Sociology, Math, and Statistics).
I can also tutor in MCAT prep, as I scored a 513 on the exam last summer. I still have all the relevant books and resources, which I can provide free of additional charge.
All supporting documents (i.e., resume, cover letter, high school and university transcripts, proof of MCAT scores, letters of reference, etc.,) will be provided upon request.
I am located in Southwest Edmonton, but am flexible to meet anywhere in the city for in-person sessions. I can also tutor in a hybrid or fully online manner as well. I am willing to negotiate my per-hour rate with anyone who is interested. Please reach out at 780-238-5257 if you have any questions.
