TAIMUR (TY) R. AKBAR
B.A., LL.B. | called to the Alberta Bar in 2008
Ty was called to the Alberta Bar in 2008. He has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws degree, both from the University of Calgary.
During his articles he practiced in the following areas: criminal, wills & estates, litigation, corporate commercial, family and real estate.
Upon completing his articles Taimur started his own practice with a focus on litigation, real estate and family law.
Taimur has appeared before the Provincial and Queen’s Bench courts of Alberta.
His practice has always emphasized a pragmatic and efficient problem solving style for his clients. Taimur joined Sugimoto & Company in 2013.
