Reiki Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by laying on hands; and is based on the idea that an unseen life force energy; flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means God's Wisdom or the Higher Power; and Ki which is life force energy. So Reiki is actually; spiritually guided life force energy. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Shamanic Healing There are two aspects to shamanic healing: a medicinal one and a spiritual one. Shamans talk with plants, animals, and helping spirits, with all of nature. This is not just a metaphor. They do it in an altered state of consciousness. When a Shaman compassionately works to relieve the suffering of another, the helping spirits are interested and become involved. What to expect on a shamanic treatment
When you come I will smudge you with smoke from sage to clear negative energies
I will ask you to select a stone from my medicine bundle and ask you to blow any troubles, illnesses or worries into the stone.
I will then ask you to lay down on the massage table on your back and place the stone you picked on a place on your body where you feel you are carrying that negative energy for negative feelings
I will open up sacred space and ask my helping spirits to come. There may be drumming, Rattling, and Singing
Then I will place one hand under your back to ground you
Then I will place another hand under your back to align two of your chakras and reset you fight or flight instinct.
I will place 2 fingers from each hand on the back of your neck your neck , This sets your body to be ready to release energies not needed.
I will clear your first blocked Chakra and then reseal it.
I will pass my hands about an inch or two over your body with my fingers moving but not touching you, to remove any negative energies or entities, and keep doing this higher and higher above your body through your different energy layers.
Once I have removed the negative energies and or entities, I will ask you to sit up and drink some blessed water and will splash some water on you. You will then lye back down and I will rattle
I will then close sacred space and thank the helping spirits and you will give me back the stone to go in the medicine bundle for further healing.
Please note you will remain fully clothed and I will have blankets there if you feel cold
