Tailors work closely with Store Management and Sales Associates to provide a positive, unique, fun shopping experience for our customers. The role of a tailor is primarily ensuring the proper fit, marking, altering, and pressing of garments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To make adjustments to South Asian Style clothing such as Gowns (Anarkalis), Sarees, Lehengas & blouses. Duties include: Alterations of womens wear Full stitching - Blouses Saree Pleating Lehenga Stiching Taper sides of garments Ensure proper sizing of clients Maintaining a clean and neat tailor shop
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in alterations Thorough knowledge of basic machines used in alterations Proficient in sewing and making garments Keen sense of color perception and fabric types Good planning and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and manner
