Our Jagua henna tattoos are made from Jagua. Jagua is a fruit that grows naturally, which is widespread throughout the rainforests of South America. The fruit is edible and is used by several companies for food coloring in different countries. When applied to the skin, Jagua will leave a stain on the top few layers of your skin which will create an all-natural temporary blue-black tattoo. Jagua tattoos are not permanent and are applied to skin in a similar fashion like henna is applied without piercing the skin with needles.
Jagua is 100% safe, vegan and natural. However if you have an allergy from berries, the Jagua tattoo may cause an allergic reaction since jagua is a form of berry (which is very rare to happen. If you happen to have an allergic reaction, please consult your doctor).
