Hi, my name is Shaan and I am a grade 12 student who has completed Bio 30 IB and I have written the biology 30-1 Alberta diploma, as well as the math 30-1 Alberta diploma. For reference, I received a 7 (equivalent to a 98+) in the biology IB course, a final grade of 100 in the math 30-1 course, and a final grade of 97 in the biology 30-1 course. I offer to help high school students in Math 30-1 and Bio 30-1, especially those registered in vista virtual summer school, I am willing to help students through assignments and teach them in depth about complex topics. I have tutored for over a year, and I have never had a unsatisfied student. I am currently tutoring a few students and they appreciate the connection I am able to make with them as they feel more comfortable around a tutor the same age. I have assisted them in reaching the marks they desire, a student I recently tutored immediately improved his mark by over 15% to a score of 95 on one of his assignments. I can assist a wide range of students, even those that aim for very competitive marks such as in the high 90's. I can offer google meet sessions, or for those students that learn better in person I can offer to meet at a public library in the SW.
