My name is Sadaf and I am a provider with the Child Development Dayhomes agency in the Macewan area in Southwest Edmonton.
Following is a quick summary of information and down below is a detailed description of how I run my day home.

I currently have the following spaces: - 3+ years (full-time or part time) - 2+ years (ONLY Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) - 1+ year old (ONLY Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
My day home hours are: - Monday to Friday - 7:00AM to 5:00PM
I am a level two holder in Early Childhood Education. I believe my education is what enables me to provide the best care for children which is why I continue to attend workshops provided by my agency and increase my knowledge in this field. My day home is regulated by my agency and I expect monthly visits from my day home visitor to ensure the safest environment for every child in my day home.
I provide healthy breakfasts, lunches ad snacks including fruits, vegetables and milk.
There are many activities for the children in Little Sprouts Day home including arts and crafts, outdoor play, quiet play such as reading time or story time, and also free play. I also try to engage the children in activities that promote self confidence and independence.
The children are under my supervision the moment they arrive at the door to the end of the day when they are picked up.
My philosophy is based on understanding a child's needs and wants. I treat every child with respect, equality and fairness. I try my best to provide a fun, warm, and welcoming environment for every child who comes to my day home.
