Our Law Office was established in 2007. Founder Rono A. Baijnath graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School (2006), during his studies he engaged in a multifaceted legal education representing his diverse interest in law, society and social justice issues. While at Osgoode he was actively involved in business, student politics and community justice matters.
He obtained a placement at the Parkdale Community Legal Services practicing in the Immigration and Refugee Division.
He was awarded the Osgoode’s Banking and Negotiable Instruments Award for highest scholastic achievement. In 2003 he obtained a B.A. Hons., from the University of Toronto (Trinity College) in Political Science and Sociology.
Since being established in 2007 the firm has grown exponentially however Mr. Baijnath continues to pride himself on being accessible to his clients and the firm's strong personal and individualized legal service.
His achievements, interest, and dedication to law began as young as 14 years old when he held a co-op placement with the Ontario Provincial Courts in the former City of Scarborough.
The murder of his friend15 year oldIsmale Spence and later the death of his cousin Hardai Parbhu in the World Trade Center attack, only motivated him to continue in his goal of becoming a lawyer and working for the greater good of society.
He volunteered as a mentor for Youth Assisting Youth, various West Indian community organizations and was a director in the Drop the Fee campaign for new immigrants. In his personal time, his interests include music, baseball, real estate, fishing, and investments.
