KARANPAL S. AUJLA
Karan pursued his Bachelor of Laws with honours from the prestigious University of Dundee in Scotland after receiving a part scholarship.
Upon returning to Canada, Karan undertook and concluded the National Accreditation Examinations required by the Federation of Law societies of Canada.
Karan has always maintained an avid interest towards Criminal Law and has had the privilege of learning and experiencing different aspects of both the British and Canadian criminal justice systems.
Karan’s final term thesis death with the topic of, “Miscarriages of Justice in Criminal Law”, which was a very well received and commended by his peers and mentors.
Although a majority of Karan’s practice is in Criminal Law, he actively practices in the area of Family Law and Personal Injury and makes it his goal to achieve the best possible results for his clients.
At one of the most sought after law firms in Edmonton, Karan spends a majority of his time not only in different levels of Court including the Alberta Court of Appeal, but also travels to several remote court locations including Calgary, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Sherwood Park, and Leduc to name a few.
Karan is confident and comfortable arguing various legal principles in a courtroom and is confident in his abilities to provide assistance to his clients while maintaining the highest of legal standards.
Previously residing in Calgary, Karan is a “gym buff” who enjoys maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle and is also a motorsport enthusiast with a great passion for cars and motorcycles.
Karan is also fluently conversant in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu and will be happy to assist you in any of these languages.
