BACKGROUND: She took Hindustani classical lessons from Pt. Ajoy Chakrabarty, Pt. Badalmoni Gupta & Smt. Haimanti Sukla and became “Sangeet Prabhakar” from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. She got light music lessons with advanced voice grooming and lessons on studio technicalities from music director Sri Chandan Roy Choudhury. She also took Western voice lessons from College Conservatory of Music (CCM), University of Cincinnati, USA.
