Fresh beef, lamb and goat meats are available every Tuesday and Friday afternoons. Please call 902-455-6328 to confirm.
You can also order beef, lamb and goat meats to your own specifications, and pick up your order at our store, usually within three days.
We will get whatever type or quantity you want, be it the single liver of a goat or an entire sheep cut according to your specifications.
Beef, lamb and goat are sourced locally from within Nova Scotia. The animals are free range. An on-site muslim butcher ensures that they are Zabiha-Halal.
Note that prices are subject to change according to market fluctuations.
Also note that the price of goat and sheep is nearly double that of beef.
This is a market condition that has affected Nova Scotia for several decades, and sadly we cannot do much about it.

Zabeeha-Halal Meats
Since 2004, we have been supplying Zabeeha-Halal meats to Halifax, Canada.
Our beef, lamb and goat meats are Free Range and locally sourced from Nova Scotia.
We also carry a wide variety of Zabeeha-Halal chicken. Our store is a licensed facility for selling meat and serving food.
All our meat is top quality and government inspected.
In addition, we carry all leading Zabeeha-Halal brands. Such as Al-Safa®, Crescent®, Kebab Factory® and K&Ns®.
Fresh Meats
Do you prefer nothing but fresh? And frozen meat won't do for that very special dish/occassion? Fresh beef, lamb and goat meats are available every Tuesday and Friday afternoons. Fresh chicken is also available a few times every month.
Since the fresh chicken schedule is not fixed, please follow us on Facebook® to receive timely notification.

Ethnic Groceries+Spices
Could not find what you wanted in every department store? We carry a wide selection of groceries catering to various ethnic communities in Halifax, such as Arabic, Indian, Pakistani, Iranian and even North African.
And yes, all our groceries are Zabeeha-Halal.
But does it matter when it comes to groceries? In some cases, it does. For example, our jelly crystals use halal animal fat.
And our vanilla essence is prepared without alcohol. Please check out our Product List for a brief selection of some of our most well-loved products.
