Hello! Welcome to the Cool Cat Music School We are Christopher & Ruchira Rogers :) Located in Georgetown, we teach privately out of our home. Christopher: Christopher has been playing guitar for over 20 years and studied music at Mohawk College. If you’re interested in getting started or expanding on what you know, he can help. He’s played styles ranging from classical to blues, funk and R&B to pop. He was fortunate to be able to study blues, jazz and flamenco under some amazing teachers! If you happen to be curious about buffing up on some musical theory (how music works), that is also a service offered. Feel free to reach out for openings and rates (as there are limited slots). Whatever your goals: whether you want to play guitar around the campfire with friends, or learn a timeless solo; we can work toward and achieve your goals!
Ruchira: Ruchira has played violin for over 20 years. With numerous shows and events under her belt, including weddings, parties and funerals, Ruchira has evolved to become a solidly adaptable musician. She has been teaching for various businesses and organizations around the GTA for 15 years. Ruchira has also received professional instruction at Mohawk College where she attended in 2016. She has gone on to become a licensed Simply Music instructor; a playing-based method for teaching piano in which the process of reading music comes later on.
