As an artistic child, Fatma had keen interest in craft, sketching, hairstyling, make-up and mehendi.
She spent hours perfecting her art of mehendi, hair and make-up on her relatives, friends and neighbors, but never really thought her passion would become her profession.
After completing one year of Law she got married.
With her husband’s encouragement, Fatma pursued her passion and received her Certificate in Esthetics and Hairdressing.
With 18 years of experience and knowledge of Skin Care and Hairdressing from Bombay School it was very easy to upgrade her studies in Canada as well.
After coming to Canada in 2003, Fatma started her job as an esthetician and hairdresser.
But didn’t have much time to explore her mehendi talent.
But soon after upgrading her studies in hair and skincare, she started her career as a full time mehendi artist and it didn’t took any longer to spread her name and fame.
“Fatma Mehendi Art” became a well known name in Mehendi industry.
Her clientele are not only Vancouver based, but they are from Seattle, Squamish, Vancouver Island, Calgary, England, Edmonton, Toronto and many more other cities.Opening her own Salon in Canada was her dream which came true on August 27 2008.

Besides providing Mehendi, Hair and Make-up for brides and all other occasions the services includes eyebrow shaping, waxing, manicure, pedicure, Facials, Body massage, wraps, Haircuts, Color, Permanent straitening and much more.

MENICURE AND PEDICURE

FACIAL
Getting facial is the best way to take care of your skin. It is not only a way of pampering and taking out relaxation time for yourself but it is very necessary for you to do that.
So our facials not only just pamper you but at the same time treat and heal your skin. Our unique and herbal facials help your skin in many ways like: Collagen lifting and firming, tightening of open pores, reduces dark circles, reduces wrinkles, slows ageing and reducing pimple and acne, gives shine, glows and moisturizes. Rehydrates and rejuvenate. Helps reducing scars and even your uneven skin tones.
Our facials begins with cleansing , exfoliation of the skin, steam to make the black heads and white heads soft so that they can be easily extracted, and also helps removing the dead skin. Then relaxing massage is given by using appropriate and suitable creams as per each individual skin type. Use of Galvanic or High frequency is given as per clients need.
Last but not least the suitable mask is applied as per each individual’s skin type. Finally we finish our facial with, serum, or moisturizer.

Fatma’s Salon is fully certified hair and skin care salon. Fatma and her certified team provides all type of hair services like haircuts, Color, highlights, perms, permanent hair straightening, roller sets, Hot oil head massage, Hair spa treatment , Deep Conditioning treatment, Dandruff treatment , Hair up-dos.
Fatma’s Salon also provides Men’s services like Eyebrow and face threading/waxing, Body detoxification, Haircuts, color, perms, permanent straightening, Dandruff treatment, hot oil head massage and hair spa treatment.
There are many clients who do not feel comfortable to get their services done in a common place for men and women. So keeping in mind and considering the privacy, Fatma’s Salon have separate section for men. We also do have full privacy for hijab wearing sisters
