The puncture of responsibility, of manufacture or equivalent is the puncture that contains the engraving identifier of the person in charge of placing the article with precious metal on the market.
The contrasting puncture reproduces a mark of guarantee. The symbol varies according to the metal:
- Gold - deer head - equal to or greater than 800
- Silver - eagle head - equal to or greater than 925
