Hello/Bonjour, I’m Salma Mayamuud. I am a 4th-year student in Biomedical Science at the University of Ottawa. I am fully bilingual and would be able to help with English as well as French language courses up until a middle school level (from elementary to 8th grade). However, I can also tutor students in elementary-level math. I may be able to help tutor students in other subjects for elementary grades if discussed beforehand (in either language). As a student myself, I realize that some teachers’ teaching methods are not always helpful to all students. I hope to have the opportunity to use different approaches with your child to make learning easier, more fun and more productive for them.
My prices are 25$/hour (below grade 5). My pricing for grades above the 5th grade is 30$/hr.
Unfortunately, due to the current situation of the pandemic, I will not be offering tutoring sessions in person, for my safety as well as your own. The tutoring lessons will be offered via Zoom.
