Sananda is one of the Leading Indian classical dancers and choreographers of contemporary dance, currently residing in Calgary,Canada. Apart from her passion to reach greater heights in the world of Music and Dance, she is a teacher of Katthak dance in her Dance School - Nrityam Shikshyatan.
Born in one of the Traditional Families in Kolkata, Sananda was introduced to the World of Music and Dance at a tender age of 6. She was extensively trained by eminent dancer late Shri Sheema Bhowmick and Nandini Chakraborty in Kathak and Smt.Tanushree Shankar in Indian contemporary dance form, in their respective Dance Faculties. Since then ,she has evolved over the years by performing at many stages, across the world. For her, dancing is not only a passion and her involvement with art and culture, but it also helps her bond with celestial sanities. It is dance, which helps her find solace and contentment which she wants to spread across the society through her teachings and choreography.
