Dr. Brunthiga gained her Medical Degree from the University of Jaffna in 2007. She did post-graduate training in Paediatrics & Child Health gaining MD (Paediatrics) in Colombo and MRCPCH in the UK and has over 7 years experience in Pediatrics in Secondary & Tertiary Specialist care National Health Service (NHS) Hospitals in United Kingdom (UK) and Sri Lanka. As she is interested in holistic longitudinal care of patients of diverse demographics across the spectrum of their medical needs, she trained to be a General Practioner (Family Physician) in England gaining an MRCGP qualification in the UK and CCFP (Certification in the College of Family Physicians) in Canada.
