Job Duties
Have operational knowledge of recipes, standards, and portion sizes
Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
Prepare ingredients (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
Ensure great presentation of dishes before they are served
Ensure food and other items are stored properly
Follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, and cooking
Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently
Prepare and cook complete ethnic cuisine dishes such as variety of chicken, goat, vegetarian etc.
Stock inventory required to make tandoori items appropriately
Clean up station and store leftover food in appropriate conditions
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area
Clean the Kitchen area and all equipment after the service is over
Required to wash dishes if/when necessary
