Looking for a caregiver / psw for 74 yr old Indian woman living in Barrhaven. Shifts will be a mix of 6 and 10 hours. Availability for Evenings and weekends required. Duties will include: 1. Provide company to her 2. Occasionally cooking 3. Serving food and feeding (minimal assistance) basic Indian vegetarian dinner and evening tea. 3. Wash dishes from the dinner 4. Bathroom assistance 5. Recreation - tv, music, card, ludo
Requirements: 1. PSW, nursing student (other caregiver experience may be considered as well) 2. Indian - Hindi speaking (absolutely essential) 3. Police check, references, CPR C and first aid
Preferred: Driving would be preferred but non drivers can apply.
Good job opportunity for someone looking for some extra cash, there is usually time to study if needed. Pay rate $15-18 (based on experience)
