My name is Sanju. I am from Calcutta, living in Brampton, a mother of 2 daughters and a school teacher. I have learnt North Indian classical and semi-classical singing for over 10 years. These days I mainly sing Bengali and Bollywood songs. I have performed in several community concerts in the Toronto and Brampton area both asa solo artist and with my band. My favourite artists are Geeta Dutt, Asha Bhonsle, Lata ji and Shreya Ghosal. It will give me great joy to help you learn your favourite Hindi songs and increase your confidence to sing in community and social events. I will work on your vocal range and stability, help you learn songs and sing them with expression. If you are interested, I will also coach you on singing karaoke.
I teach online, so what you will need is a cell phone with WhatsApp and earphones. For learning to sing on karaoke, you may need a computer with Skype and a headset with microphone. My first lesson is FREE - it's essentially a trial lesson - an opportunity for both of us to explore what working together will be like. After that, every lesson will be $20. I offer discounts for my regular students.
