Mr. Avtar S. Bhangal has been a member on the Law Society of Upper Canada since February 1994. His practice is purely restricted to Criminal defence work and protecting his client's rights.
Mr. Bhangal has extensive trial experience in the areas of impaired driving, domestic assault cases, theft/fraud, and sexual assault matters. He has been retained and successfully defended cases involving serious allegations such as Impaired Driving Causing Death and Attempt Murder.
Mr. Bhangal has been featured in Legal Articles appearing in the Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, City TV, OMINI news and Time Magazine. He continues to work in his community to provide insight and knowledge on various topics and community based programs. He has been the founding member of various organizations including the South Asian Professional Networking Association.

Mr. Bhangal is often called upon to provide lectures and motivational speeches to High School and University students. He is committed to helping others and often mentors new lawyers in providing them with guidance on trial strategies.
Suny S. Virk, B.A., J.D.
Mr. Suny S. Virk has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada practicing criminal defence law exclusively, since 2002.
Mr. Virk articled with the prestigious law firm of Greenspan, Henein & White, under the tutelage of Edward Greenspan, Q.C.
Mr. Virk is presently a senior barrister with the law firm, where the firm's primary focus is defending their clients on criminal and/or quasi criminal matters.
Mr. Virk is committed to representing and protecting his client's interests and prides himself on his experience and professionalism in the criminal justice system.
Mr. Virk first gained exposure to criminal law while attending law schools in both Canada and the United States. He interned with the State Appellate Defender's Office representing indigent clients and drafted criminal appeals for the Michigan Supreme Court. He also interned at the Michigan District Court where he assisted the Chief Judge, prior to attending and completing his studies at the University of Windsor Law School. Mr. Virk was awarded with the Certificate of Merit Award in Advocacy.
Mr. Virk has written numerous articles relating to criminal law issues and regularly provides lectures and speeches to various institutions and associations. Mr. Virk has appeared on CBC, CTV, Global, City TV and 680NEWS. Mr. Virk's cases have been featured in The Globe & Mail, The Toronto Star and The Toronto Sun.
Mr. Virk has been an active member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Peel Law Association, the Peel Criminal Lawyers' Association, the York Region Law Association and the Canadian Association of South Asian Lawyers.
