Dr. Shalini pursued her M.B.B.S from the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, followed by M. Derm (Masters in Clinical Dermatology) SISD from Delhi. She also holds Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine, Germany
