Bashir Jaffer is a seasoned Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive and diverse experience with publicly traded companies (SEC and TSX) , in public practice, entrepreneurial, professional, management and leadership roles in business as well as national, provincial and local community and not-for-profit organizations.
Bashir Jaffer's professional qualifications are:
- Member of Chartered Professional Accountants of BC
- Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1976.
- Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (Admitted 1970).
Bashir is able to bring and contribute comprehensive set of skills and experience in providing professional services to public company and owner manager clients/stakeholders and organizations, in leadership, planning, management, collaborative partnerships, team building, inter-personal relationships, communications, conflict resolution, etc. He has previously worked with KPMG and PwC in Vancouver as also as a Partner of the Vancouver office of KLA & Co., a multinational CA firm. He has owned and operated his own business in Vancouver and also served as a Chief Financial Officer for public companies in the software development and hardware manufacturing, and in the Biotech industries.Â
