Must have knowledge and experience preparing Iraqi Samoon bread, Iraqi Flatbread and Lebanese Flatbread.; Cuisine Specialties Iraqi, Lebanese Baking
Additional Skills Train staff in preparation, safe cooking and handling of food; Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards; Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory; Attention to detail and handling of ingredients; Preparing dough from early morning, Bake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes and multigrain breads, Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking, Clean kitchen equipment and tools before and after use, Shape dough to prepare different types of pastries, including croissants, cookies and sweet rolls, Recommend recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers (e.g. gluten-free or vegan desserts), Prepare custom-made pastries based on customers’ preferences, Requisition of food and kitchen supplies; experience as a Middle Eastern Baker and be able to prepare the required breads.
