We are running an Indian takeout restaurant in Ottawa Ontario since last 8 years and our chef just left for India for indefinite period and we are looking for curry chef or tandoori chef and we need who has minimum experience of three years or more . Cook/chef must have ability to prepare sauces and curry preparation Must be able to prepare breads and meats in the Tandoor (Indian style clay oven) oven Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities Estimate food requirements, Garnishing and presentation of food and in new cooking techniques Plan menus, Ensure quality of food and portion control, Maintain records of food costs, consumption, inventory While on duty keep the cooking area clean to make sure that the health and food safety standard are met. Salary is no constraint for a right candidate and we will pay best in industry and our pay scale starts from $5000 to $6500 depending upon number of years of experience and skill.
