About
For over the past 14 years Bally Hundal has been practicing as a criminal defence attorney. Bally Hundal was called to the Ontario Bar in March, 2002.
He graduated from York University and thereafter received a travelling scholarship while attending law school in Europe.
He then returned to Ontario and completed his legal studies at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law.
While there, he interned at Windsor Community Legal Aid & Legal Assistance of Windsor, and represented indigent clients at tribunals.
Upon his call to the Bar, he worked for over three years for the Government of Ontario as a Criminal Duty Counsel with Legal Aid Ontario.
Bally has dealt with matters at all levels of court in the Province of Ontario, including Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal.
The majority of Bally’s clientele is in Greater Toronto area. However, he regularly conducts trials and bail hearings throughout Ontario, including Ottawa, Newmarket, Brockville, Oshawa, Kingston, Brampton, Burlington, Windsor, Sarnia, Oakville, Milton, Barrie, Hamilton, Thunder Bay, Dryden, Kenora, Guelph, Kitchener‐Waterloo, Bradford and Orangeville.
Bally Hundal has extensive trial experience in many areas of the Criminal Code as well as The Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
He has also conducted jury trials and has a unique and innate ability to address juries on serious criminal matters.
Bally has worked for years in developing successful defence techniques that use other resources such as DNA experts, forensic experts, private
investigators and technology and internet experts to develop comprehensive cross-examinations in order to show false or misleading allegations.
This is one of the reasons why he has a high rate of success for his clients. He is known for being an aggressive trial lawyer, but honest.
Because of the respect he has earned in the courts, Mr.Hundal is often able to get cases entirely dismissed by explaining to the Crown Attorney why the case should not proceed.
