Hey there!My name is Priya and I am currently a 1st medical student at McMaster University. I am interested in helping those applying to medical school through OMSAS this year.This past cycle, I had the opportunity to interview at McMaster University, Western University, Queens University, and the University of Ottawa. I was lucky to receive an acceptance to McMaster, Western and Queens. I wrote the MCAT only once and scored 512 (128/128/128/128). My cGPA this past cycle was a 3.92. I have also worked as a tutor and mentor over the last four years, and have learned to tailor my teaching style to each student's needs.I understand how stressful the medical school application process can be and would love to use my knowledge of the process to help others. I certainly did not have the highest GPA or MCAT when applying, but I believe I was able to showcase my strengths through my ABS, essays, CASPER test and interviews. In fact, I was able to go from 0 interviews to 4 interviews in one year just by focusing on improving these parts of my application.
