*Head Chef in indian restaurant* We are a growing company, looking forward to open soon, a new Indian fine dining restaurant with a new concept in Montreal. Thus we are looking to add to our team an experienced and creative Chef cook who would head the kitchen operations and create a menu in line with our concept and respond to the different catering and banquets services we offer. In addition to the salary package we offer employee benefit package. *Specific Skills/Requirements/ SHOULD HAVE* Experienced Chef Cook, with cooking experience in INDIAN restaurant With in depth knowledge of traditional North and South Indian and Gujarati cooking methods. *Responsibilities* Create delicious dishes of Fine Authentic Indian Cuisine including,: entrée, main course and sweets, side dishes, drinks” Also create special menus for special occasions, or combo menu for 2/4, working with marketing/business development staff etc., Creative in garnishing and presenting the dish in an elegant style and creating new dishes Plan menus for lunch and dinner, insure food quality , determine size of food portions Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Organize and manage buffets and banquets for our catering and special occasions requests Determine needed food ingredients, supplies and equipment, estimate costs, monitor and order supplies and Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Supervise kitchen staff and helpers and Manage kitchen operations inspect and insure Clean kitchen and work areas Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment, under pressure Repetitive tasks Physically demanding Attention to detail Standing for extended periods Over time and week-end work Personal Suitability Initiative Flexibility People management/supervisory skills Team player Communication skills Client focus Dependability Judgement Reliability Organized and strong time management skills Responsible Creative Email Your Resume on *indianrestarantjobs@gmail.com*
