The Harman Group (HGC) opened its doors in 1997 with a single truck and trailer to the business we see today with hundreds of satellite-tracked trucks and trailers. In 1997 Mr.
Shoker established Harman Transport, now a division of HGC The Harman Group, with a vision in mind where he wanted to become a leader in the refrigerated carrier business.
Our transport services include Reefer, Dry Van, LTL, FTL, Open Deck, and Cross Docking throughout North America.
Our Stone, Sand and Gravel division includes Dump Trucks, Stone Slingers and Live-bottoms. We serve our customers door to door throughout Canada, United States and Mexico.
We operate through our main terminal in Caledon, which includes 6 garage bays, 2 truck washes, 10 cross-docks, a warehouse and an office building which is over 30,000 sq. ft all situated on 30 acres.
We have an office in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Montreal, Quebec and Halifax, Nova Scotia and also operate through a transport hub in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Shoker purchased his first truck and established a transport company in Quebec.The company expands with the purchase of 2 new trucksMr.
Shoker relocated to Toronto, Ontario and established Harman Transport
Harman Transport built a new terminal in Brampton, Ontario and had expanded to 40 trucks
Harman Transport merged into HGC The Harman Group
HGC purchased 6 acres and started to build a new terminal in Caledon, Ontario
HGC moved into the new main terminal in Caledon, Ontario
HGC grew to a fleet of 100 trucks
HGC acquired 15 acres of terminal space in Caledon, Ontario on the same street as it’s main terminal
HGC got awarded “Top 100 carriers in the Canadian Transportation Industry”
HGC added 4 acres to its main terminal in Caledon, Ontario
