Khan Waqar has received his Bachelor of Engineering Degree From Pakistan Naval Academy & Karachi University , in 1992 and the same was assessed by World Education Services Canada and was assessed equivalent to Bachelors of Engineering Degree.
He has also taken several professional courses in the field of security and investigation, which have been successfully completed. Khan Waqar has been awarded the designations of "Certified Protection Officer".

Khan Waqar has done several community programs on volunteer basis. He was the chief organizer of a community event and parade in 2004 , 2005 & 2006 at Nathan Phillip Square, Toronto. His effort was recognized by the Premier of Ontario ,York Police Chief and Minister of Immigration Ontario.
He is also the founding director of the Canadian Community Arts Initiative, a non- profit organization , which is now successfully performing south Asian community event MOSAIC in Mississauga.
