Orthotics
Device that is used to alter or modify foot functions is called orthotics. Orthotics is for individuals who need treatment to adjust and support various foot disorders.
The most effective orthotic is custom made devices which are made according to the needs of the individual which is made using an impression of the foot called a cast.
The technician then uses the cast to design a cast that corrects any misalignments. The finished orthotic is placed in the patients shoes to provide the foot with support.

Injured workers are provided with a sound assessment, high quality credible training that will equip them for return to work, timely access to comprehensive assessment, outcome based rehabilitation, and claim services for their injuries.
Employers must report a work-related accident to WSIB if they learn that the worker required health care.
