Sumant is an experienced Indian Classical musician who wishes to share his knowledge by teaching in the beginner and intermediate levels. As a teacher and performer for nearly 15 years, he wishes to teach in the following areas of Indian Classical Music:

Harmonium - South Indian Classical Music & Bhajans
Sumant's Profile: Sumant had his formative training in vocal Carnatic Music from their mother, and is currently receiving advanced training under the tutelage of Smt. Raji Gopalakrishnan. He performed his maiden concert in the year 2015, and has since given many concerts in Canada. He is actively part of the Gnanananda Seva Samajam (GSS) Canada, where he renders Pracheena Sampradhaya bhajans, and the Peel Sathya Sai Centre, where he is a lead singers.
Sumant is also accomplished Harmonist. He had his formative training from Smt. Sarita Kulkarni & Sri. Anand Shanbhag, and later received advanced training under the tutelage of Guru Sri. N.Giri Varadarajan. He performed his maiden concert in the year 2008, and has since performed several Harmonium concerts in the UAE & Canada, and accompanied leading Bhaghavathas in India, UAE, U.S.A, and Canada.
Sumant is also an accomplished Mridangist. He had his formative training from Sri. K.M.S Mani & Sri Ganapathy Sundaram, and is currently receiving advanced training under the tutelage of Dr. Sriram Suryanarayan. He performed his maiden concert in the year 2016, and has since accompanied several local artists for concerts in Canada, and leading musicians for Namasankeerthanam, in the U.S.A, and Canada.
Sumant holds an undergraduate degree in Business Technology Management from Ryerson University, and is currently working as a Service Delivery Manager for FIS, a Fortune-500 FinTech company in Toronto, Canada.
