WHY SAHALUMRAH
Why Sahal you ask? Well that’s simple. First because we love for our brothers and sisters what we love for ourselves and that is a chance at gaining the pleasure of our Lord Most High and visiting Mecca and Madinah.
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said, “No one of you shall become a true believer until he desires for his brother what he desires for himself”.[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Moreover the literal meaning of sahalumrah is easy umrah. Our motto is to make umrah easy for you.
Al-Bukhari and Muslim
Secondly many of us have already been blessed with the opportunity to make Hajj and Umrah and we have the experience to share. We have all observed some skills and techniques that can be used to make YOUR Umrah a easy experience inshaAllaah.
Moreover many Muslims belief that what stands between them and visiting the holy Ka’bah in Mecca and the Prophet’s masjid in Madeenah is money. I have to say that money is not the only inhibitor, rather it’s tawfeeq from Allah.
The blessed Makkah (makkatul makkarram) was the place where the first verses of the Holy Qur’an were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and it is towards the Ka’bah, the cubical stone structure which now stands in the center of the Holy Masjid that Muslims face to pray five times a day and circle as part of the umrah and hajj pilgrimage.
Originally called Bakkah or narrow, a reference to the valley in which the city is located, Makkah was a pilgrimage site for centuries before the advent of Islam.
The Holy Qur’an says: “The first house (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakkah, full of blessing and of guidance for all the worlds.” (Surah Al Imran verse 96) .
Not to mention the reward of praying in the Ka’bah is equal to 100,000 prayers.
In fact, our tour will include the visiting of wondrous and miraculous historic sites amongst Them are: the caves of Hira and Thowr, and Jabalul Rahma to say the least.
After Makkah InshaAllah our journey will take us to Madina which is the city whereby The Prophet (saw) said, “A prayer in this masjid of mine is a thousand times greater than a prayer in other than it, except for the Masjid al-Haram.” [Sahih Bukhari; Sahih Muslim.] From amongst the beautiful name of this city is Madinatul Munawwarrah also know as the radiant Madinah. A breath taking experience which will leave you dazzled with its beautiful palm trees to its amazing historical sites such as Uhud, Ahzab, Quba and Qiblatayn etc.
By the grace of Allah we had been blessed in previous years to sit under the feet of scholars such Sh.Muhammad Al-Mukhtar Ash-Shinqitee, Sh. Abdallah Al Mukhtar Ash-Shinqitee,Shaykh Rabee‘ bin Haadee, the Imams of the Prophets Masjid such as Sh. Hudaify and Sh. Salah Budair just to mention a few.
Furthermore SahalUmrah will facilitate all this and much more, God willing.
Our group is headed by students of knowledge from Umul Qura and Darul Hadith university in Makkah as well as Madinah University students.
InshaAllah SahalUmrah promises to make this the spiritual high point of your life, an experience that remains indelibly etched in your memories forever.
From Anas that The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
‘O Allaah there is nothing that is easy except that You made it easy, and You can make this difficulty easy if You so wish to’
May Allah make everything we do easy, and make our travel easy, and reward us for every step we take to do good. Ameen
