Homeopathy

Homeopathy treats by giving the individual highly diluted substances which trigger the body’s natural healing processes. It works on the principle that “like heals like” – that is, a substance that would cause symptoms in a healthy person is used to cure those same symptoms in illness. Homeopathy effectively stimulates your body to heal itself from the cause of illness, not just the symptoms. We identify areas of emotional and physical imbalance which are redressed through individualised remedies selected to stimulate your body to regain its own equilibrium.

Remedies are made from a variety of sources including plants and minerals like sulphur. They are non toxic, non addictive and have no side effects. As homeopathy treats the whole person and not just the disease, it can be effective in the treatment of virtually any complaint. It can also be used safely alongside most conventional medicines and can be given to children.

Naturopathy

Naturopathy or natural medicine is one of the earliest forms of primary health care and embraces a wide range of natural approaches to wellness. At its core is the belief system that the body heals itself, given the right tools.

Dis-ease comes from an underlying imbalance, which can be caused through birth and preconceptual stress, emotional and physical trauma, infection, environmental toxicity, stress, poor nutrition, functional or structural lesion, the use of medicinal or recreational drugs or deficiency. It may even be genetic – when many of these factors are at play, underlying genetic conditions can more easily present themselves.

How does it work?

Naturopathy sees health as more than just the absence of illness. It aims to establish health on a cellular level by improving circulation and innervation, nutrition, detoxification and elimination and follows the Hippocratic oath of ‘first do no harm’. It bases itself on the interaction between the three key areas of:  structure, biochemistry and emotional balance and how they interact with the individual’s environment. Ultimately the body will fight to keep itself in homeostasis or dynamic equilibrium.

Naturopathy uses a wide range of therapeutic tools from nutritional therapy, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, bodywork to herbs, fasting and detoxification.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a 2000 year-old traditional Chinese healing therapy designed to rebalance or unblock the flow of energy within the body.

Needles are used at certain points on the body, which correspond to the points on the meridians or channels along which the body’s energy – known as qi – is thought to flow. The flow of qi can be disturbed by many factors, be they physical, mental or emotional, and this will have an effect on our overall wellbeing.

Acupuncture is most accepted as a method of pain relief. However, a skillful acupuncturist will use it to treat a range of clinical conditions and it is an important alternative tool in our methods of treatment. Especially we use acupuncture on the basis of our diagnosis to stimulate the body’s own healing response and bring the body back into its natural balance.

Oligo Therapy

Oligotherapy uses individual trace minerals for therapeutic support, supplementing the necessary minerals for enzymatic functions.  Oligotherapy remedies are considered as catalysts that speed up metabolism at the cellular level.  Oligotherapy remedies also provide essential nutrition to stop free radical activity which destroy body tissue.

Oligotherapy supplementation in believed to enhance the movement of ions, essential for life, into and out of the cell.  They work by optimizing the ionic channels on the surface of cells allowing flow to occur.

The origins of Oligotherapy come from the research done by Bertrand at the Pasture Institute and subsequently continued by Jacques Menetrier, M.D. in 1944.

Ultrasonic Fat Breaking

Complete your Bodyline with Lipo Suction

Micro bubbles are formed and grow in liquid under the oscillatory influence of rarefaction(negative pressure) and compression (positive pressure) zones within ultrasonic waves radiating for the ultrasound machine.

Micro bubbles grow to a size that cannot be sustained any longer and implode as releasing a shockwave.

The size of micro bubbles is bigger, the bigger influences the shockwave gives.

Such shockwaves disintegrate adipose tissue and these fat cells turn into a liquid substance which would be removed through lymphatic vessels and urine.

Purpose

  • Body Contouring
  • Body Toning
  • Cellulite Removal
  • Localized Fat Removal

Infrared Sauna

What is an Infrared Sauna?

An infrared sauna is a sauna that heats a person or people using heaters that emit far infrared radiant heat. They are different to a normal sauna in that they do not use steam to heat the air. Rather, they use infrared radiation to directly heat the person. The infrared waves penetrate into the body, raising the body temperature. This causes sweating which in turns eliminates wastes from the body. The infrared heat penetrates deep into pores and cleans out dirt and debris, as well as clearing the organs of toxins, and strengthening the immune system.

What Infrared Saunas can be used for?

Infrared saunas can remove the accumulation of potentially carcinogenic heavy metals as well as alcohol, nicotine, sodium, and cholesterol. Wherever toxins accumulate, the blood circulation is blocked, due to the acidic nature of the toxins. The saunas expand the clogged capillary vessels and dissolve the toxins into the bloodstream where they then leave the body through sweat, urine, etc. As well as this amazing detoxification, infrared saunas can also be used to help with weight loss, cardiac problems, skin problems, acne, and many other health issues. They are also fantastic for relieving stress.
Infrared saunas require 90 percent less energy than traditional saunas and also heat up much faster. The calories used during half an hour in an infrared sauna is more than what would be used by a person running for the same amount of time. An infrared sauna can be used by a person with respiratory problems as the air itself is not heated like it is in a traditional sauna.

Benefits of the Infrared Sauna

The infrared sauna has many health benefits including:

  • deep relaxation
  • reducing muscular stress, tension, and physical fatigue
  • aids in increasing heart rate, cardiac output, and helps with faster calorie burning
  • improves skin tone, texture, and colour
  • allows for deep cleansing, eliminating impurities and removing dead skin cells
  • detoxification
  • increased energy
  • improves healing time from injuries, as well as relieving pain
  • by creating an “artificial fever”, the sauna actually improves the body’s immune system, as the function of the immune system is increased during a fever state
  • increased muscle growth
  • reduced cellulite
  • raises growth hormone levels

Gemmotherapy

Gemmotherapy is a branch of phytotherapy that uses buds and young shoots of trees and shrubs. They are gathered in the spring, at a key stage of the natural growth cycle, and freshly prepared in a macerate process using water, alcohol and glycerine.

Made of developing tissues, buds and young shoots are a true concentrate of the plant’s energy and vitality. They also contain many active principles that are no longer present when the plant is fully developed. This explains the wide range of applications and effectiveness of gemmotherapy remedies.

Gemmotherapy was created in the 1960s by Dr Pol Henry, a Belgian doctor. He published his research findings and clinical results in1970, calling this new therapy “Phytoembryothérapie”. This discipline was further detailed and developed by Max Tetau, a French homeopath, who also gave it a new name, “Gemmotherapy”. This term derives from the latin ‘gemmae’ which means both plant bud and precious stone, and is the name now universally adopted.
