AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE:

Aromatherapy Massage Therapy is particularly suited to emotional stress-related conditions and relaxation. The therapist will select essential oils to balance stress-related problem areas. The patient can request his or her favourite essential oil or a combination of scented oils to address specific needs.

HOT STONE MASSAGE:

An assortment of smooth warm stones is used on certain parts of the body to alleviate stress, and loosen tight, sore muscles. The therapist may apply gentle pressure with the patient approval to bring about total comfort level and balance throughout the duration of massage.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE:

Deep tissue massage is requested by people with chronic pain, tight sore muscles, repetitive strain, or recovering from injury. The therapist usually targets the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue using slower strokes and friction on the muscle or body part. Please note: people usually feel sore for a day or two after this massage.

SHIATSU MASSAGE:

The Therapist applies pressure using his or her fingers, thumbs, or palms in a rhythmic sequence. Shiatsu is known to relieve stiff muscles, stress, improve circulation, and promote relaxation.
If you experience any discomfort during this treatment, please inform the therapist know so he or she can make adjustments to bring you back to comfort. This treatment is done on a low massage table or on the floor.
Unlike other forms of massage, with shiatsu no massage oil is applied, so you remain fully clothed during the treatment. You will be asked to bring comfortable clothing to wear during your session.

THAI MASSAGE:

The Therapist moves and stretches you in a number of postures and sequences to help align the energies of the body. This is done using gentle pressure on selected points of the body. Thai massage is energizing, known to reduce stress levels, improves flexibility and range of motion, which ultimately promotes relaxation.

SWEDISH MASSAGE:

The Massage Therapist uses circular, kneading, long smooth strokes, mostly on the superficial layers of the muscles. Using massage oil or lotion, the session can be very gentle and relaxing. First-time users to massage therapy tend to enjoy this particular massage.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE:

Pregnancy massage is used to reduce stress, relieve aches and pains, decrease swelling, and also helps with anxiety and depression. The therapist will customize the massage session to accommodate your needs and a wish, making sure your comfort level is top priority throughout the session.

The therapists certified in Pregnancy Massage know the proper way to position and support a woman’s body during the massage, and how to modify techniques. Not only can massage be physically beneficial, but human touch is known to be relieving and provides emotional support during pregnancy.

BACK MASSAGE:

This massage is offered primarily for people who suffer with tight, sore muscles on the back and traps area.

The massage therapist focuses of the whole back, but the massage is not limited to just that region. It can be directed requesting a more relaxing approach.
